Shaheen Shah Afridi, the captain of the Lahore Qalandars and one of the world’s best pacers, has chosen to demonstrate his design talent in advance of the forthcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Shaheen Afridi has taken it upon himself to create Lahore’s new uniform for PSL 8, as CEO of Lahore Qalandars Atif Rana disclosed a few days ago. While many fans were unsure of the design Shaheen would choose, they were able to see a sample of Shaheen’s work when Lahore unveiled their new logo, which would be printed on their uniforms.
A preview video for the new logo was posted on Lahore’s official account on several social media sites. The new design follows the minimalist logo trend that has recently captured the attention of the sporting world.
The freshly unveiled logo and the neon green uniforms appear to indicate that Qalandars will continue to wear them for the upcoming season.
