The opening ceremony and the first game of the upcoming eighth season of the Pakistan Super League will both take place at Multan Cricket Stadium (PSL).
According to media sources, the management has chosen to have the opening ceremony and the first game held at Multan’s famous stadium.
The first game, which pits the host team against the reigning champions, and the opening ceremony both take place on February 13 in Multan. the Lahore Qalandars in the first game.
The tournament’s second game is scheduled to take place in Karachi. According to reports, PSL matches would be held simultaneously in Karachi and Multan up to February 26. After that, the location will switch from Multan to Lahore.
In the meantime, the Pakistan Super League will play its fair share of matches at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in March. The tournament’s semifinals and championship game are scheduled to take place in Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
The proposed calendar calls for Multan to host five matches, Karachi to host nine, Rawalpindi to host ten, and Lahore to host ten each.
On December 15, the draught ceremony for the eighth season took place, and several franchises selected notable cricketers from across the world.
Under the direction of left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah, the Lahore Qalandars, who won the competition for the first time last year, will defend their championship.
