Mohammad Rizwan, the captain of the Multan Sultans, scored his first PSL century against the Karachi Kings on Wednesday at Multan Cricket Stadium.
After reaching fifty in 42 balls, the wicketkeeper-batsman increased the stakes.
Rizwan made history by reaching his century in just 60 balls after needing only 18 balls to go from 50 to his hundred. It is the quickest 50 to 100 acceleration in PSL history by a batsman from Pakistan.
The wicketkeeper-batsman contributed to his team’s 196-2 total after scoring an unbeaten 110 runs off 64 balls.
With six fifties and a century in his previous ten T20 innings, Rizwan has maintained his impressive run of success.
This is also Rizwan’s second century in T20 cricket and second in the HBL PSL season.
The player who has scored the most runs so far this season is Rizwan, who has 329 runs at an average of 109.66 and a strike rate of 144.
