The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) denied the NOC, delaying the departure of the Pakistan Women’s Football team for Singapore.
As a result of the PSB’s refusal to issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for their planned departure to Singapore, the Pakistan Women’s Football team has become embroiled in controversy.
The team’s plans have been delayed as a result of the crucial NOC’s denial. They had been scheduled to leave for Singapore on July 13 and play friendly matches against Singapore on July 15 and 18.
According to sources, the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) requested the NOC on June 27, shortly after receiving a letter of confirmation from Singapore, but the PSB didn’t receive the request until July 3 due to the Eid holidays.
The PSB insisted that federations submit all required paperwork for NOC six weeks in advance, though.
The Pakistan Women’s Football Team and their supporters are disappointed by this unexpected development because they were looking forward to these friendlies as a chance to show off their abilities and represent their nation on a global stage.
Future plans for the team are uncertain as they wait for more clarification on this issue.
