In keeping with the general market trend, Regal Automobiles has increased the costs of the DFSK Glory 580 Pro and Prince Pearl. The cost of the company’s least expensive vehicle has increased by up to Rs. 300,000, and is now more than Rs. 1.7 million.
Models | Old Prices (Rs.) | New Prices (Rs.) | Increase (Rs.) |
Prince Pearl | 1,539,000 | 1,700,000 | 161,000 |
DFSK Glory 580 Pro | 5,900,000 | 6,200,000 | 300,000 |
In comparison to its competing automakers, Regal Automobiles’ price increase is unusual in that it is quite little. Two of the company’s cars, which are also its best sellers, have only seen price increases.
Other vehicles’ prices, including those for the DFSK Glory 580 1.5T CVT and 1.8 CVT, the C37 Van, the Humsafar Van, and the K01 pickup, are allegedly unchanged.
Car prices have increased significantly as a result of the sharp drop in the value of the local currency. Due to letters of credit for the import of vehicles and parts not being granted, automakers accuse the government of stalling operations.
Analysts predict a poor year for the auto sector due to the persistent local currency depreciation and declining demand.
