The prime minister on Thursday increased the exemption from fuel adjustment charges (FAC) in August invoicing to customers using 300 units of power.
The coalition government initially declared an exception for electricity consumers utilising 200 units, which has since been increased to 300 units, according to the prime minister, who was speaking to a gathering of party MPs in Islamabad.
The prime minister recalled that the PTI government’s “wrong” policies caused a number of issues for his government when it first took office.
