Malik Shahza, a citizen of Pakistan, demanded an end to Sweden’s ongoing desecration of the Holy Quran, according to the report.

When Salwan Momika, an Islamophobic Iraqi refugee in Sweden, set the Holy Quran on fire outside the Pakistani Embassy in Stockholm, Shahza, a heart patient who had undergone bypass surgery, was horrified.

Momika was yelled at by Shahza, who was shouting at him from behind a security fence.

It’s not right to burn the Quran, so please stop. I can’t sleep because I’m sick. I had a bypass procedure. Why do you keep setting the Quran on fire? Why have you come to my second home, the Pakistani Embassy, to do this? Stop, I’m sick and can’t sleep. He questioned, “Why are the police allowing this?

Shahza eventually made an attempt to cross the barrier to prevent the destruction of the Holy Quran. Instead of confronting the Islamophobe, the Swedish Police intervened and removed Shahza from the situation.

After being freed, an emotional Shahza spoke to the Swedish news agency Anadolu Agency about how the incidents involving the burning of the Holy Quran had a significant impact on his health and wellbeing.

The scene was tense as Momika was escorted away in an armored police car under the protection of a sizable police presence.

To support Momika’s incitement, close to 20 police vehicles—including 10 armored ones—and about 100 police officers were stationed nearby.

In Sweden, a discussion about religious tolerance and freedom of expression has been sparked by the incident. It has prompted requests for a better comprehension of religious sensitivities and a reconsideration of the equilibrium between freedom of speech and respect for religious beliefs.

Islamist nations and the international community have been outraged by recent Quran burnings and other acts of desecration carried out by Islamophobic individuals and groups in Northern Europe.
