The appeal made by Asif Bhatti’s son Waseem regarding the danger his father is in has been noted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Famous mountaineer Asif Bhatti is stranded on the perilous Nanga Parbat slopes, leaving his loved ones awaiting his safe return.
Shehbaz Sharif gave the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Secretary the go-ahead to start a rescue effort right away. The Prime Minister gave the necessary instructions to the relevant authorities to ensure that Asif Bhatti was safely recovered from the treacherous terrain of Nanga Parbat.
Recognizing Waseem’s distress, the PM also called for getting in touch with him directly to offer comfort and support during this trying time. Asif Bhatti is currently stranded at a height of roughly 7,500 meters, but representatives from the PM House assured him that every effort would be made to get him back to safety.
It is important to note that Asif Bhatti, who began the ninth-highest peak’s final summit push, came across a dangerous situation.
At a height of 7,500–8,000 meters, Bhatti is presently stranded at Camp 4 and in need of immediate rescue due to snow blindness.
Pawel Tomasz Kopec, a Polish climber, passed away from acute altitude sickness earlier today, according to the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP).
