Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave the Capital Development Authority (CDA) instructions last month to complete construction on the Bhara Kahu bypass project within four months.
The government has tasked National Logistics Cell (NLC) with finishing the project, according to the most recent update. A three-lane road with a length of more than 5 kilometres will be built by the contractor between the entrance to Quaid-e-Azam University and the Jugi Bus Stop.
The PM has given NLC instructions to finish the project in three months and for a total cost of Rs. 6.5 billion.
The PM said that this will be a terrific amenity for residents of Murree and the neighbouring areas, as well as for local and international tourists.
Park Road Expansion
Additionally, Park Road in Islamabad will soon see enlargement by the Capital Development Authority. The most recent tweet from Capt. (Retd.) Muhammad Usman Younis, Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, states that CDA will widen Park Road by adding additional lanes over a distance of 7.5 kilometres between Rawal Chowk and Taramri Chowk.
The project, he continued, will start in the third week of October 2022 and cost Rs. 1.95 billion. The project will be finished in four months. Over time, Park Road has deteriorated owing to a variety of factors, making daily commuters’ lives difficult. Chairman CDA asserted that he is aware of the problem and has given its expansion and rehabilitation top priority.
