The immediate payment of salaries to Radio Pakistan Peshawar employees has been announced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
While briefing Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Dg Radio reported that vandals had damaged Radio Pakistan Peshawar’s building and had burned recordings and archives dating back more than a century.
The Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the employees of Radio Pakistan’s courage and promised to provide the funds within 48 hours of the event.
According to Shahbaz Sharif, I have announced that the salaries for April and May will be paid immediately, and the Ministry of Information will receive May’s salary in 48 hours.
Additionally present were the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Ghulam Ali, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, and Interim Chief Minister KP Muhammad Azam Khan.
