Beginning on November 14, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will continue to offer flights to Turkey. The national airline will use its most recent Airbus 320 to fly twice weekly from Islamabad and Lahore to Istanbul, the capital of Turkey.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) would be able to recover its ongoing losses thanks to the decision to resume flights from Lahore and Islamabad to Turkey.
It is important to note that PIA and other airlines raised their prices after the country’s catastrophic flooding forced the suspension of train service from Lahore to Karachi for four weeks.
Recently, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) came under fire for boosting the cost of a one-way ticket to China to over Rs. 500,000, which made it extremely difficult for students to complete their studies in the neighbouring nation.
To make up for the astronomically high tickets to China, PIA later announced a discount for these students and an increase in the amount of luggage allowed.
