Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) resumed taking reservations for its once-weekly flights from Lahore to Kuwait.
According to reports, it will start flying again to Kuwait on September 21.
Additionally, weekly flights PK-205 and PK-206 will travel from Lahore to Kuwait and back from Kuwait to Lahore, respectively.
After receiving permission from the Kuwaiti government to resume operations, the national flag carrier will fly this route using A320 aircraft.
Bookings for this November’s FIFA World Cup 2022, which will be held in Qatar, were also published by PIA earlier on September 4. It will run seven flights a week in direct service to Doha from Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar.

A tender for the purchase of new aircraft has been released by PIA in related news. In an effort to enhance the number of its overseas flights, PIA has expanded its fleet.
The national airline intends to purchase five new aircraft on a dry lease for a period of six years, and it anticipates acquiring the aircraft with a maximum seating capacity of 320 passengers in the upcoming year.
