Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has released the air fares for the Hajj pilgrimage in 2023. According to the national carrier, pre-Hajj operations will begin on May 21st and will last until June 22nd (subject to the sighting of moon).
During the Hajj, the national flag carrier will use Boeing 777 and Airbus A-320 aircraft to fly to Jeddah and Medinah. As in previous years, PIA has decided to charge pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia under the private Hajj scheme airfare in US dollars.
According to the PIA, the fare for pilgrims travelling to Hajj in 2023 ranges from $870 to $1,180, depending on the departure location. However, it should be noted that these fares are only available to pilgrims from Pakistan’s southern region, which includes Karachi, Quetta, and Lahore.
