One of the infamous “Tinder Swindler’s” victims has some good news. She is expecting twins.
In 2018, a man who Pernilla Sjoholm met on a dating app and purported to be Simon Leviev, the son of a diamond dealer, scammed her out of her life savings.
In reality, he was a con man by the name of Shimon Hayut.
The popular Netflix series “The Tinder Swindler” featured a number of his victims.
She hasn’t disclosed whether or not she is having the child with anyone.
Sjoholm made the announcement while taking part in a creative new promo for the competing dating app Wingman.
Sjoholm and fellow victim Cecilie Fjellhoy both appear in the commercial, which imagines how their lives would be different if they had used Wingman instead of Tinder.
The rationale behind the former is that since your friends and family can assist you in screening future mates, they are more likely to see warning signs than the person with whom you are already dating, who can be dazzled by infatuation or manipulation.
Tina Wilson developed the software after coming up with the concept on her own.
