The franchise in the Pakistan Super League objected to the addition of new teams to the upcoming competition, citing the issue of where the players for the two teams would come from, despite the board’s assurances to the franchises that they would not suffer any harm.
It was suggested during the meeting, according to sources, that Pakistan Super League games be held in the United Arab Emirates. The plan was opposed by some PSL franchises.
According to Najam Sethi, there is a lot of interest in the event from new teams.
Sources claim that the committee will work on suggestions for the ticket sale and that discussions for the PSL 9 window are anticipated to begin in February.
