The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to forbid members of the national cricket team from attending Haris Rauf’s wedding in Islamabad.
Unfavorable weather in the area and the lack of flights, according to cricket board officials, were the main causes of this unexpected decision.
Due to the unpredictable nature of weather patterns and the few flight options available, the PCB was concerned about the ability of players to return to Karachi on time.
Some of the players were supposed to leave for Islamabad today to attend the wedding festivities before flying back to Karachi on Saturday.
The cricket board’s management had to step in and forbid the players from traveling due to weather patterns and logistical difficulties.
Both the players and the supporters, who were eager to take in this happy event, are disappointed by this announcement.
The members of the national team made the decision to send Haris Rauf a video message with their heartfelt congratulations after realizing the importance of this occasion for their teammate.
