Paul Cattermole, a star of S Club 7, was sadly discovered dead at home at the age of 46.
Management told the stunned group that there were “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding his death. A statement was released by his family who shared the news of the “unexpected passing” with “great sadness.”
“It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son and brother Paul Cattermole,” they wrote. “Paul was found yesterday, 6th April 2023 at his home in Dorset and was pronounced dead later that afternoon.
“While the cause of death is currently unknown, Dorset Police has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances. Paul’s family, friends and fellow members of S Club request privacy at this time.”
Paul tragically departed away just weeks before his old bandmates and him were scheduled to perform together later this year.
According to a source who spoke to the Sun, bandmate Hannah Spearritt “broke down” at the news and the group was “in pieces” about it.
“Everyone is in pieces,” the source revealed. “Hannah and the rest of the gang broke down when told what happened.
