Parineeti Chopra, a Bollywood actress, and Raghav Chadha, the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), got engaged last weekend in front of family and friends in Delhi’s Kapurthala House. For the romantic ceremony, the couple twined while dressed in ivory ethnic attire.
The couple posted the first images from the ceremony on their Instagram accounts. Captioned by Parineeti, “Everything I prayed for…I said yes…Waaheguru ji meher karan.”
The actress recently shared a few more images from her customary engagement ceremony. A religious chanting was conducted by the newlyweds.
In the photos of Parineeti joining her hands and addressing a religious leader, her hair was draped in a lace dupatta.
Raghav had his hands folded and a wide smile. According to Sikh tradition, he had his hair covered during the ceremony.
Parineeti Chopra chose a Kashmiri threadwork dupatta by designer Manish Malhotra and an ivory kurta with pearl-encrusted flare pants. While her beau Raghav Chadha complemented her in a blush pink waistcoat and ivory Kurta.
In the caption, Parineeti thanked Singh Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh for attending their ceremony. She penned,
“Felt surreal to be blessed by the one and only, Jathedar of the Akal Takht Sahib, Singh Sahib Giani Harpreet Singh Ji. His sacred presence at our engagement meant everything to us.”
The actress embraced her natural skin and hair while opting for a subtle glam-up. She chose to wear nude lips, smoky eyes, thick lashes, and a flawless face.
Her center part was held in place by an intricate maang tika, and her glossy hair was styled in flawless waves that fell to her shoulders.
