Sindh is expected to experience extremely high temperatures, with the mercury forecasted to rise to between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius over the next few days.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, who predicts that temperatures will rise in the Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, Umarkot, Badin, and Thatta districts of the province.
Karachi is likely to experience 33 degrees Celsius on 17 and 18 February, temperatures in other parts of Sindh are not expected to rise in the same way.

This warm period is anticipated to extend until February 21, with the cooling benefits of the sea wind temporarily delayed as an AntiCyclonic Circulation moves closer to the shore.
Notably, the previous record-breaking February temperature for the area was 36.5 degrees Celsius on February 27, 2016.
Climate change is predicted to be the cause of this unusual weather pattern and the following heatwave, therefore experts advise people to take the necessary precautions to stay cool and healthy.
