The Pakistan Cricket Board released the schedule for New Zealand‘s two-team trip of Pakistan on Monday, October 11; ODIs and T20Is will be played between December 2022 and January 2023, and the BlackCaps will return in April–May 2023 for another Test series.
The BlackCaps will compete in three ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League games from December 27 to January 15. the ICC World Test Championship, and two Tests before returning for five T20Is and five ODIs from April 13 to May 7.
Between December 2022 and January 2023, New Zealand’s first leg of the Pakistan trip will feature two Test matches. Kane Williamson will captain the team. While Karachi will host the first Test from December 27 to December 31, Multan will host the second Test beginning on January 4th 2022. The teams will return to Karachi for the three ICC Super League games on January 11, 13, and 15.

New Zealand will make its first trip to Karachi since October 1990 during the Test match. It has also been a historic year for Multan. In addition to hosting the second Test match between Pakistan and England (December 9–13) and the second Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand, Multan hosted three one-day internationals against the West Indies in May.
The second phase of New Zealand’s tour of Pakistan will begin with four Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in Karachi (April 13, 15, 16, and 19). The final three ODIs will be played in Rawalpindi, and the fifth T20I and two ODIs will be played in Lahore (on April 23, 26, and 28). (May 1, 4, and 7). The Future Tours Program is responsible for the first portion of the New Zealand tour of Pakistan, which includes of two test matches and three one-day internationals (FTP)
The cancelled September 2021 tour is expected to be made up for by the 10 white-ball matches in April and May. The ICC World Test Championship Points Table presently has Pakistan in fifth place and New Zealand in ninth. A competition that serves as a qualification for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, the ICC Super League presently has Pakistan and New Zealand placed fourth and sixth, respectively.
