Recent months have seen an unprecedented increase in demand for VPN services in Pakistan. The increase reached a startling 311% when measured against the average daily usage over the previous 28 days. On May 10, the demand for VPNs soared even higher, rising astonishingly above average by 846%.

The top 10 VPN providers’ analysis shows a significant increase in demand over these two days. This information was provided by Top10VPN, a company in charge of tracking VPN usage trends around the world. In their monthly reports, usage trends from the previous 30 days are compared.

Along with the increase in VPN usage, people started looking for other ways to access their accounts and get around limitations on various platforms. People can create a secure connection for their devices when using a VPN to access the internet. A VPN directs the connection through a private server, serving as an intermediary between the internet and the internet service provider.

Encrypting data before transmission is one of the main benefits of using a VPN. Additionally, it hides the user’s IP address, guaranteeing their online privacy and safeguarding their identity. The decryption key needed to decode the encrypted data is only kept on the user’s computer and by the VPN.

Users can securely share files without worrying about data exposure or interception by using a VPN, which is a relatively simple process. In order to protect users’ identities, passwords, locations, and other private information from potential hackers, VPN services are essential.

The recent increase in VPN usage can be attributed to the country’s increased anxiety and desire for updates. Additionally, people tried to voice their opinions and comments about Imran Khan’s arrest. During this trying time, the availability of VPN services facilitated secure communication and allowed people to freely express their opinions.
