The highly anticipated IBSF Blind World Games will feature a 13-member squad, according to the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC).
The international competition, which will highlight the incredible talent of athletes who are blind or visually impaired, is scheduled to take place in Birmingham, England, from August 17 to August 27.
Thanks to the cooperation of World Blind Cricket Ltd and the IBSA, cricket will be included in the IBSA World Games for people with visual impairments.
The chosen national team for the World Games has received the approval of PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah, who is also the Chairman of World Blind Cricket Ltd.
Depending on the severity of their visual impairment, the team roster includes players from various categories.
The B1 group includes Zafar Iqbal, Riyasat Khan, Mohammad Shahzaib, Fakhar Abbas, Mohammad Salman, and Mohammad Asif.
Vice-captain Badar Munir is Nasir Ali’s supporter. Nasir Ali competes in the B2 division. Matiullah, Mohsin Khan, Kamran Akhtar, Akmal Hayat, and Israr Hasan are the B3 category’s representatives.
