A DAD was killed at close range by his own dog while out hunting with friends.
Ozgur Gevrekoglu’s dog is alleged to have stepped on a loaded shotgun in the man’s boot, shooting and instantly killing his owner at close range.
The strange incident occurred last weekend while the 32-year-old new father was on a hunting trip on the Kizlan Plateau in the Samsun Province of Turkey.
The dog reportedly touched the shotgun trigger with its paw while the hunter was loading his pet into the car’s trunk, setting off the weapon.
Prior to being transported to Samsun, the state capital, for an autopsy, his body was first brought to Alacam State Hospital.
He had only become a father ten days earlier, according to the local media.

Malerato was stomped by machinery that reversed into her when she was working her shift at Jasmond Central Woolworths in Newcastle, Australia.
