According to the Budget 2023–24 speech document, which is published with ProPakistani, the federal government has decided to establish a new category of remittance cards.
The brand-new cards will be called “Diamond Cards,” according to information. They will only be given out to Pakistanis living abroad who remit more than $50,000 each year.
Holders of Diamond Cards will get the following benefits:
- One non-prohibited bore license
- Gratis passport
- Preferential access to Pakistani embassies and consulates
- Fast-track immigration at Pakistani airports
