Can you identify the snake in this popular video? Snakes are the masters of camouflage and are admired for their ability to fool their prey.
You might have hawk-like eyes if you can find the cunning snake hiding in the wild.
A photo of a dry area of ground where a cunning snake is lurking was posted on a Reddit page.
If you don’t look closely, you might assume that there isn’t a reptile in the picture that is lurking in plain sight.
If you are unable to see the snake, it is curled up in the middle of the dry grass.

A Reddit user, blonde-bandit wrote: “I’m not even generally afraid of snakes but that level of camouflage does not bring me comfort”.
This was echoed by Teach-Piece, who added: “My heart started beating faster. Not fun.”
It isn’t until you really look closely that you can see the bronze-headed copperhead because it mixes in so well with its environment.
The eastern copperhead, a pit viper, has venom, but it is not particularly dangerous to people.
Although it is native to North America, allied species of copperhead vipers can also be found there.
The snake’s venom is hemolytic, which means it kills its prey by dissolving blood cells.
If you’re unfortunate enough to get bitten by a copperhead snake, take off any constricting jewellery and clothing to make way for the swelling.
