The newest device in Oppo’s A-series of smartphones, the A78 4G, was unveiled in Indonesia. Running on a Snapdragon 680 SoC is the Oppo A78 4G. The phone has a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and its display has a hole cutout for the selfie camera. With the option to “expand” the RAM up to 16GB using unused internal storage, the Oppo A78 4G is only offered in a single 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. A 5,000mAh battery powers it, and 67W SuperVOOC fast charging is supported.
Price and Availabality:
The cost of the single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Oppo A78 4G is IDR 35,99,000. It is currently available in the colors Black Mist and Sea Green on Oppo’s online store in that country.
Customers will receive a free pair of Oppo Enco Buds 2 earphones in White color when they purchase the Oppo A78 4G. The new Oppo A78 4G’s global availability and price have not yet been made public.

The dual SIM (Nano) Oppo A78 4G has a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED screen with up to 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum 180Hz touch sampling rate. It runs ColorOS 13.1, which is based on Android 13. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, has a pixel density of 409ppi, a maximum brightness of 430 nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.8 percent. It has 8GB RAM, Adreno 610 GPU, and Snapdragon 680 SoC as its power source. As previously mentioned, by using unused storage, the available RAM can virtually be increased to 16GB.

A 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture make up the Oppo A78 4G’s dual rear camera system. An f/2.0 aperture 8-megapixel front-facing camera takes care of video calls and selfies. The phone comes with 256GB of storage.

The Oppo A78 4G shares a 5,000mAh battery with the Oppo A78 5G thanks to the manufacturer. The battery can be charged with 67W SuperVOOC.

Additionally, the Oppo Reno 8 weighs 180 grams and has dimensions of 73.23x161x7.99mm.
Features:
The Oppo A78 4G has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. An accelerometer, geomagnetic sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, in-display optical sensor, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. It supports face unlock and has a fingerprint sensor for authentication.
