The launch of the OnePlus V Fold is anticipated to occur soon, most likely by the end of August this year. The foldable smartphone was initially hinted at the Cloud 11 launch event in February of this year. The phone is expected to have a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) outer screen and an 8-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1440 pixels) OLED inner primary display. The phone is rumored to be equipped with Qualcomm’s fastest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and is expected to have three rear cameras. The future book-style foldable smartphone’s design renderings have recently surfaced in a new leak.
Images posted by OnLeaks and SmartPrix appear to show the OnePlus V Fold with a black leather finish that resembles lychee. The large, circular, center-aligned camera module with three camera units and a Hasselblad label is located on the back panel. Visibly, one of the three rear camera lenses is anticipated to be a periscope lens; this type of lens is likely to offer superior, longer optical zoom features, similar to those found on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Outside the camera module, on the top left corner of the back panel, is an LED flash panel.
The foldable phone has an alert slider at the top of the right edge, as can be seen in the images that were uploaded. Further down the edge is the power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The phone has incredibly thin bezels, according to design renderings.
An inner selfie camera sensor hole-punch slot is visible at the top left corner of the panel when it is unfolded. When the phone is folded, a second selfie camera is visible on the device, centered at the top of the outer display. Additionally, a triple speaker setup for the phone is visible.
A 6.5-inch full-HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) external display and an 8-inch QHD+ (2560 x 1440 pixels) OLED primary panel have previously been predicted for the device. It is anticipated that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power the phone.
The handset’s triple rear camera system is expected to have three cameras: a 32-megapixel periscopic telephoto camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS. Two 32-megapixel sensors are anticipated to be included in each of the two selfie cameras.
