The second half of 2023 will see the introduction of OnePlus’ first foldable phone, the company recently confirmed. Additionally, according to some reports, the phone will go on sale in August. The OnePlus V Fold and V Flip names have already been registered as trademarks with the China National Intellectual Property Administration. But it appears that the business will also change these names. The OnePlus Open will be the name of OnePlue’s first foldable device, according to recent reports.
According to a trustworthy OnePlus leaker, the OnePlus Open will be the sole name of the company’s first foldable phone. According to recent rumors, it will be called the OnePlus Fold. OnePlus could have changed the name of its foldable phone to something more straightforward and distinctive since Google just unveiled the Pixel Fold.
The name hasn’t been officially announced by OnePlus yet. But we’re positive the name Fold won’t be used. It’s still possible that the business will introduce it as part of the V Fold series. In the near future, we will learn more about it.
The upcoming phone will nonetheless have three rear cameras, one of which is a periscope camera with Hasselblad tuning. Outside of the camera cut-out, the flash is present in the left corner.
In addition, it will have a completely different camera design and be taller and thinner than the Oppo Find N2. The phone will also have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It is expected to have 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM.
A 7.8-inch AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution is reportedly the main display. The 6.3-inch exterior display will have a 120Hz AMOLED screen. The phone will also have a 4800mAh battery.
