On July 5, at the company’s Summer Launch Event, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is scheduled to be unveiled. The smartphone’s launch is just a few days away, and OnePlus has already shared some of its key features and design. The upcoming Nord CE 3 5G’s processor, design elements, and color options have all already been teased by the Chinese manufacturer. Recently, information regarding the phone’s camera sensor was also made available via the launch page. It is known that the smartphone will feature a Sony IMX890 primary sensor.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, according to the updated teaser page on the OnePlus website. The same, an 8-megapixel sensor with a 112-degree ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor with a 4 cm macro lens were all revealed in a previous leak. The other two camera specifications, however, have not yet received official confirmation.
The company has confirmed the phone’s display specifications, which include a 6.7-inch fluid AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, in addition to the camera. Furthermore, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC, which the manufacturer claims will provide fluid gaming and image processing capabilities, is confirmed to be included in the phone. The new Aqua Surge color option for the phone was also confirmed on the launch page.
Prior to the launch event, the OnePlus Nord 3’s camera specifications have also been confirmed. A flat 6.74-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate is teased for the phone. Additionally, the company unveiled a triple rear camera system with an optical image stabilization (OIS)-enabled Sony IMX890 primary sensor.
A flagship-class chipset, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and an alert slider are additional confirmed specifications of the smartphone. The listing does not, however, include the processor’s name. On the back of the OnePlus Nord 3, there will be two LED flash modules. Tempest Gray and Misty Green are the two confirmed color options for it.
