As a replacement for the OnePlus Nord 2, which debuted last year, the OnePlus Nord 3 5G is anticipated to launch soon. The most recent smartphone in the Nord series has been discovered on the Geekbench benchmarking website before any official announcement. According to reports, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and 16GB RAM power the OnePlus Nord 3 5G. According to the listing, the phone’s model number is CPH2493, and Android 13 is its operating system. It’s rumored that the OnePlus Nord 3 5G will be the OnePlus Ace 2V rebranded.
On the Geekbench website, a OnePlus phone with the model number CPH2493 has been discovered. The listing, which is thought to be for the OnePlus Nord 3 5G, suggests that Android 13 may be installed on it. In single-core testing, it scored 1,153 points, and in multi-core testing, 3,180 points. According to the listing, the phone could have 15.06GB of RAM, which could theoretically equal 16GB. The advertisement is from June 8.
Additionally, the listing implies that the phone will be powered by an octa-core chipset. It displays a prime CPU core with a 3.05GHz maximum clock speed, three cores at 2.85GHz, and four cores with a 1.80GHz maximum clock speed. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC seems to be connected to these CPU speeds. It is anticipated that the OnePlus Ace 2V will be rebranded as the OnePlus Nord 3 5G. The latter also uses a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC as its power source.
The base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the OnePlus Ace 2V was priced at CNY 2,299 when it was introduced in China in March of this year.
If the OnePlus Nord 3 5G is a rebranded device, both phones may have similar specifications. The OnePlus Ace 2V has a 6.74-inch (1,240×2,772 pixels) 2.5D AMOLED display and runs Android 13 with ColorOS 13 on top. A 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor are all included in the smartphone’s triple rear camera setup. At the front, it has a 16-megapixel sensor. The device has up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
