The OnePlus 12, the twelfth smartphone in OnePlus’ numbered series, is expected to be unveiled in China later this year. Although little is known about OnePlus’ upcoming flagship, information on the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which might be unveiled in China soon, and the purported smartphone’s display specifications have surfaced. On the Chinese microblogging platform, the phone’s specifications have surfaced. The OnePlus Ace 2 was only unveiled in China, while the OnePlus 11 was released earlier this year on the global market by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer.
Other anticipated phone specifications have also previously leaked.
According to a report a tip, the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro both have similar display specifications. Samsung Display Corporation is rumored to provide a 2K OLED display for the OnePlus 12. The phone will reportedly have a hole-punch cutout at the top that is centered and a curved edge display. It’s also anticipated that the phone’s display will support a 120Hz refresh rate and a QHD+ resolution.
The report also states that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, which will debut in October, may power the OnePlus 12. So, by the end of 2023, the OnePlus 12 is anticipated to make its China debut.
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to come with a BOE 1.5K OLED screen with a resolution of 1240 x 2772 pixels. The display is rumored to have a hole-punch cutout in the center and curved edges.
Specifications for the OnePlus 12 have also previously leaked, supporting information from the new reports. The OnePlus 12 will have a 6.7-inch OLED display with a quad-HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, according to a previous report. Additionally, it was rumored that the phone would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with the model number SM8650.
