The second-largest illegal market in the world is wildlife trafficking, and one animal is targeted more frequently than any other. An Indian Forest Service officer named Parveen Kaswan uploaded a video of the second-most-trafficked animal on the globe on Sunday in an effort to shed awareness on the issue. He said that his crew was able to save the person in the photograph while being smuggled.
He remarked, “Do you know this one is second most trafficked mammal on planet. Shy and harmless creature smuggled in thousands every year. This one was released by our teams after rescued from smuggler,” the animal is a pangolin, Mr. Kaswan said in the comments area.

Pangolins come in eight species, four of which are found in Asia and four in Africa. According to CNN, two of them are in risk of extinction, while all of them are protected by international agreements.
Asia is where pangolin scales are most in demand. Its scales are utilized for medical purposes while their flesh is appreciated in China and Vietnam. There are certain tribes who think pangolin scales may treat cancer and make women produce more milk.
