The internet has integrated seamlessly into our daily lives. But, even a few decades ago, the environment was very different. People relied on written correspondence and landlines for communication because smartphones hadn’t yet been developed. Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, is shown in a video discussing how the internet will eventually rule the globe.
The video is a portion of an interview Musk gave to CBS Sunday Morning and was posted on Twitter by Tesla Owners in Silicon Valley. He describes how the internet will converge all forms of communication in the video. In the video, he predicted that “one will see print, broadcast, perhaps, radio, basically all media folding into the internet.”
“What the internet really amounts to is that it’s the first intelligent two-way communication. It gives customers the option to select what they wish to view. All traditional media will be revolutionized, in my opinion,” he continued.
