A school shooting is thought to have harmed AT LEAST five individuals, and police officers are swarming the school.
In East Oakland, the shooting took place on Wednesday in front of a structure that contains many high schools.
Bay Area Technology School, Rudsdale Newcomer High School, and Sojourner Truth Independent Study are located in the same structure.
Highland Hospital received three victims, according to CBS News Bay Area.
The Eden Medical Center received two more patients. The victims’ condition is yet unknown.
The U.S. Sun was informed by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office that the site had been secured but that Oakland Police Department should be contacted with any further inquiries.
The U.S. Sun contacted OPD with a request for comment, but they did not react right away.
According to the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, San Francisco agents were responding to the shooting.
This occurs after a gunshot on Tuesday outside a high school in Pennsylvania left one kid dead and four others hurt.
