On July 11, Nothing Phone 2 will go on sale in India. The smartphone will replace the Nothing Phone 1, which was introduced in July of last year. The upcoming phone has been the subject of numerous rumors and leaks for a while now. Leaked live images of the phone and its packaging have appeared online as Nothing prepares to release the Nothing Phone 2 to the public. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that will power the Phone 2 has not yet been confirmed.
TechDocterz (@TechDocterz), a tipster, shared some hands-on images and gave away some of the Nothing Phone 2’s key specs in a post on Twitter. The upcoming smartphone will have a 4,700mAh battery and a 6.7-inch full-HD+ display, as stated in the leak and confirmed by the manufacturer. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will be used to power the device.
The tipper also claims that the Nothing Phone 2 will feature up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 12GB of RAM. NothingOS 2.0, based on Android 13, will run on it. Additionally, it is rumored to have an aluminum mid-frame and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Also anticipated for the phone are dual stereo speakers.
A 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX890 sensor and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor are rumored to be included in the dual camera setup on the back panel. The Nothing Phone 2 is rumored to have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
A transparent rear case, curved edges, and the colors white and dark grey are all that have recently been confirmed for the Phone 2. Also rumored for the smartphone is an updated glyph interface with better LED lighting.
