The elegant 150 and the music-focused 130 are two brand-new models that HMD Global is debuting as part of an updated lineup for the Nokia feature phone line.
Nokia 150 (2023)
Aesthetics and durability are balanced in the Nokia 150 (2023). The phone’s construction, made of colored polycarbonate, prevents problems like paint chipping and surface scratching. It also has an IP52 rating, which protects it from splashes of light water and dust.
The device’s aesthetic appeal is improved by the textured rear panel and function keys on the front that have a metallic feel. The Nokia 150 is not much different from the Nokia 150 from three years ago aside from these design elements and has the typical functionalities you would expect from a feature phone.
The phone runs on the Nokia OS S30+ and features a 2.4-inch display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The 0.3MP camera’s captured images and MP3 music files can be conveniently stored on the phone because of the additional microSD card storage (32 GB). Additionally, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and an FM radio receiver.
A micro USB (USB 1.1) charging cable and a supporting charger are included in the retail box for the removable 1,450 mAh battery. With 20 hours of talk time or 30 hours of uninterrupted music playback, this battery performs admirably.
For a starting price of $33, the Nokia 150 (2023) will come in Charcoal, Cyan, and Red color options.
Nokia 130 Music
The rear design of the Nokia 130 Music, also known as the Nokia 130 (2023), makes its intended use obvious.
The camera is changed to make room for a bigger speaker. This model allows MP3 playback from microSD cards up to 32GB in size or through the FM radio, just like the 150 model. The phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack and includes a set of earbuds in its retail packaging.
This model and its counterpart both have the same 2.4-inch display, a feature phone operating system, and a 1,450 mAh battery. Notably, a micro USB charger is still employed.
This phone will cost $22 and come in Dark Blue and Purple color options. A Light Gold version is also available for $24.
