One of the biggest hotel franchisors in the world, Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), has named Noha Abdalla to the position of chief marketing officer. She will report to Patrick Pacious, president and CEO. Abdalla will play a significant role in the senior executive team as a leader of the marketing, advertising, communications, and brand-building departments for the company, advancing Choice’s corporate strategy across all customer touchpoints. In order to support future growth goals, she will also work closely with the leadership team and important groups within the firm to build a future state technology and infrastructure roadmap for Choice’s marketing vision.

Abdalla has more than 20 years of expertise developing business plans and marketing strategies for a number of the most renowned companies in the globe. She formerly served as chief marketing officer of MyEyeDr., an optical chain with more than 800 sites nationally and financial backing from Goldman Sachs. In this role, Abdalla oversaw the company’s first-ever marketing makeover, which included the introduction of a new patient portal, online booking platform, and CRM (customer relationship management) system. Prior to this, Abdalla served as the global vice president of digital and content marketing for Hilton, where she led all digital owned channels and was in charge of all digital marketing communications. Early in her career, Abdalla had positions with growing responsibility at Discovery as well as Capital One’s digital brand strategy and social media division.

Abdalla graduated from Georgetown University with a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in international economics.
