In relation to the “cartel-style execution” of six family members, including a six-month-old infant boy, TWO accused gang members have been detained.
Angel “Nanu” Uriarte, 35, and suspects Noah David Beard, 25, were detained early on Friday in central California, according to the police.
Beard was taken into custody without a hitch, according to Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux, while Uriarte got into a shootout with ATF investigators.
According to Sheriff Boudreaux, the 35-year-old suspect is currently recovering from surgery after being hurt in the incident.
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office described Beard and Uriarte as “validated gang members.”
Evidence suggests the suspects are part of the Norteños gang, while two of the victims were part of the Sureños gang, police said on Friday.
On January 16, the victims were discovered dead in a rural area of Goshen, roughly 36 miles south of Fresno.
Rosa Parraz, 72; Eladio Parraz Jr., 52; Jennifer Analla, 49; Marcos Parraz, 19; Alissa Parraz, 16; and Nycholas Parraz, 10 months, were all shot to death, according to Sheriff Boudreaux.
He called the killings a “execution in cartel style.”
Two others were discovered in the street, while Alissa and her infant were discovered with head wounds.
A fifth person was discovered dead in the house’s entranceway.
Rosa was discovered shot dead in her room by the police, who think she was getting out of bed.
After spotting burglars approaching the house on video cameras, two women were able to escape the gunfire by taking cover in a trailer.
