A missing 20-year-old who was last seen at a nearby Walmart has been discovered dead.
North Carolina’s High Point was home to Nicholas Jakolby Snead.
According to WGHP, Snead was last seen at the Walmart on South Main Street in High Point. On December 23, a comprehensive missing person investigation was launched in an effort to locate him.
Then, according to reports, they started to get a lot of information about where he might be.
Snead was reportedly travelling to Greensboro when he vanished, according to authorities.
The 20-year-old was found driving a black Infiniti M37, according to police.
Then, early on January 6, a bystander reported a car that had wrecked in a ditch next to Wendover Avenue in Greensboro to the police.
The car was partially buried in a creek when police arrived on the scene.
There was reportedly one deceased person inside at the time.
Investigators started drawing connections to Snead after the Greensboro Fire Department determined that the car had been there for some time since the engine was cold.
In the end, they determined that Snead owned the vehicle and was the occupant.
According to the Greensboro Police Department, the Crash Reconstruction Unit is currently looking into Snead’s death as a “traffic fatality.”
As of January 7, the accident that killed Snead had no known cause.
More details about this probe will probably be made public in the upcoming days.
