DAYS BEFORE DISAPPEARING on a camping vacation with his ex-girlfriend and their daughter, a MISSING father resigned from his job, according to his family.
Supposedly leaving on June 27, Nicholas Hansen, 38, Jill Sidebotham, 28, and Lydia, 2, were last observed in a Walmart in Mexico, Maine, a few days later.
According to Kelly Hansen of NBC News, she is concerned that “something awful” may have occurred on the trip.
“It pains me to know that he’s changed and that, God forbid, my niece is suffering as a result,” she said.
Nick snapping and doing something foolish worries me. I fear Jill may have lost it and done something foolish.
She disclosed that Hansen left his work after being denied access to two of his other children from a prior relationship.
