A council worker who was shot dead outside her home has been charged with murder along with TWO other men.
On August 21 of last year, Ashley Dale, 28, was horribly murdered in the backyard of her Liverpool home.
Her slaying was the subject of prior charges against two individuals, who will now stand trial.
But today, charges were also brought against Niall Barry, 26, and Sean Zeisz, 27.
According to Merseyside Police, both males would remain in custody over the course of the night and must appear in court tomorrow in Liverpool.
With the addition of the new charges, there are now four defendants who will stand trial for Ashley’s murder.
Both Joseph Peers, 28, and James Witham, 40, made an appearance at Liverpool Crown Court earlier this month.
Ashley was killed in what the authorities think was an identification mistake.
Just seven years earlier, at the age of 16, her brother Lewis Dunne was slain by narcotics dealers.
In a sad echo of Ashley’s murder, he was not the shooting’s intended target either.
