Ramiz Raja, the former chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, criticized Najam Sethi, the current chairman of the PCB, for treating local and foreign coaches differently.
Recently, Najam Sethi named Brad Burn as the team’s head coach and claimed that the local coaches encouraged nepotism because it was part of “Our Culture,” which reflected their lack of professionalism.
Ramiz Raja responded with a statement expressing his disagreement with the idea that PCB must respect and utilize the potential of local coaches even if they are not hired. He continued by criticizing Brad Burn’s lack of cricket circuit experience.
He claimed that because the PCB chose him based on his “skin color,” there wouldn’t be any “politics.” Ramiz Raja added that anyone with a “low-level mindset” is capable of holding such views.
These comments show that local coaches are dissatisfied with Najam Sethi’s decision to hire foreign coaches in many positions.
