The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new service called ‘Ijazat App Ki’ to protect citizens’ personal information, under which no one can verify your details without your permission.
You can now register your mobile phone number with your CNIC number and receive a passcode / pin code that will be used to verify your details, according to the details. Before gaining access to a citizen’s personal information, service providers, including banks, will now be required to obtain permission from the citizen via a passcode.
You can use the NADRA Ijazat App Ki Service to protect your personal information by registering your mobile phone number with your CNIC number.
You can register your mobile phone number with your CNIC by texting your CNIC number to 8009 and receiving a passcode in response.
