NA 22 Mardan Bye Election 2022: In the impending by-election on NA-22 scheduled for Octoner 16, incumbent Imran Khan and candidate Maulana Mohammad Qasim of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) are anticipated to engage in a tough competition.
Both the government alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and opposition Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have started campaigns to win over voters.
From 1977 to 2018, the district was known as NA-10 Mardan-II. However, following the delimitation in 2018, its name was changed to NA-22 Mardan-III.
Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI, Maulana Mohammad Qasim, Abdul Wasigh, and Mohammad Sarwar, an independent, are the other four contenders.

In the 2022 by-election, Abdul Wasay, Imran Ahmad Khan Niazi, Muhammad Sarwar, and Moulana Muhammad Qasim ran from N.A-22. Election day in 2022 was October 16.
