NA 108 Faisalabad By Election Result 2022: There are 12 candidates running for the NA-108 seat in Faisalabad’s National Assembly, but Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali, the joint candidate of the Pakistan Democratic Movement, will face off in the election.
Imran Khan’s popularity and PDM’s repute won’t be obvious until the competition’s results are in. With 112,740 votes, PTI’s Farrukh Habib was elected MNA for NA 108 in the 2018 general elections. In contrast, Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali, the Muslim League-N candidate, came in second place with 111,529 votes. The PTI Chairman Imran Khan will run in the by-elections scheduled for October 16, 2022, in place of Farrukh Habib. He will face PDM joint candidate Abid Sher Ali. All the political parties are interested in this crucial election battle because the outcome will demonstrate PTI’s popularity and enhance PDM’s standing.
Farrukh Habib, the former MNA for the district, is one of the local leaders overseeing Imran Khan’s election campaign. Rallies and corner meetings have also been conducted at various locations throughout the district, but the PTI election campaign’s momentum is nowhere to be found. One of the causes of this is that nobody knew whether or not the by-elections would take place in the seat until yesterday. On the one hand, former MNA Farrukh Habib had also gone before the court; on the other side, the Ministry of Interior had asked the Election Commission to postpone the by-elections, but the plea had been denied yesterday.
Abid Sher Ali, a candidate for the Pakistan Muslim League-N, is a joint candidate for the PDM, and he is optimistic about winning because the party has made amends with Rana Sana Allah Khan, his political rival. The local leadership has also been given the go-ahead to run the Abid Sher Ali election campaign, which they are doing on behalf of the PDM-affiliated parties. The NA-108 by-election campaign is therefore probably going to be highly entertaining.
A total of 44 union councils make up the NA 108 constituency in the city of Faisalabad, which begins at the Chowk Ghanta Ghar neighbourhood. More over 900,000 people live in the constituency, and 505,186 people will be able to cast a ballot in the by-elections. There are 234 147 female voters and 27 139 male voters. The constituency contains sizable numbers of numerous ethnic communities, including the Arain, Jutt, Rajput, Malik, and Gujjar, and elections are rigged in accordance with these ethnic community groups.

NA 108 Faisalabad Bye Election 2022
The timetable for the NA-108 Faisalabad by-election was released by the Pakistani Election Commission on August 5, 2022. The last day to submit nomination papers was August 13, 2022. On August 29, 2022, the revised and final list with the symbols of every candidate running in the NA 108 Faisalabad Bye-Election 2022 was released. were contenders from N.A.-108 in the 2022 by-election. Election day in 2022 was October 16.
