Multan Sultans defeated Karachi Kings by three runs in the 11th match of the eighth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Wednesday at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
When the Sultans batted first, they set a lofty target of 197 before restricting the Kings to 193-5 in 20 overs, thanks to a sensational century from Mohammad Rizwan and an outstanding bowling performance by the bowlers.
In a nail-biting match, Abbas Afridi held off 22 runs in the final over to help his team prevail.
Imad Wasim, the captain, gave it his all, scoring 46 runs off of 26 balls, but it wasn’t enough to cover the distance.
