An incredibly renowned Islamic scholar from Zimbabwe named Mufti Ismail Menk has travelled to Pakistan to help with flood relief efforts after monsoon-caused floods devastated half of the nation.
He came as a representative of the Abdullah Aid Charity, a charity established in the UK, and assisted flood victims in Sindh, the area most hit.
On his Instagram page, Mufti Menk posted a video of homeless flood victims seeking safety along the banks of a river. The floods, he claimed, have left a great number of people homeless. He begged his supporters to pay £100 per tent to him or any other reputable charity.
The renowned scholar explained on Instagram that he travelled to various Sindhi regions to help those in need and raise awareness of the disaster that has devastated millions of people.

Prior to this, Emirati YouTuber Khalid Al Ameri and well-known Turkish actor Celal Al, who is well known for playing Abdurrahman Alp in Dirilis Ertugrul, both travelled to Pakistan to assist with flood relief efforts.
