The Motorola Razr Ultra should go on sale soon. A larger and improved Moto Razr model was confirmed by Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, in 2023. Motorola was purchased by the Hong Kong-based company back in 2014. The Moto Razr 2022, which was released in August of last year, is anticipated to be replaced by the Motorola Razr Ultra. According to previous reports on the foldable’s specifications, one of its key features will be a noticeably larger outer display than some of its alleged market rivals as well as compared to both its predecessors.
Evan Blass (@evleaks), a tipster, shared a new Motorola Razr Ultra promotional video leak that features a 44-second teaser of the upcoming smartphone. The video supports earlier assertions that the phone has one of the largest outer displays of any clamshell foldable smartphone created to date.
The Motorola Razr Ultra’s exterior display panel is shown in the video to support a variety of tasks, including map navigation, music shuffle, offline gaming, and notification access. Nearly the entire flip cover is covered by the screen, which can be seen encircling the two circular camera modules and one LED flash unit module.
The 3.5-inch external display of the Motorola Razr Ultra is said to be significantly larger than the 2.7-inch external display of the previous Moto Razr 2022. The Oppo Find N2 Flip, which is anticipated to be one of the device’s perceived competitors, has an external screen that is 3.25 inches, so the reported size is also larger than that. The alleged 3.4-inch cover display of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 model is also likely to be smaller than it.
In some markets, the Motorola Razr Ultra could also be introduced as the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, Motorola Razr+, or Motorola Razr 2023. None of these other names have received any official confirmations as of yet.
The Motorola clamshell foldable smartphone is rumored to cost SAR 3,999, and it will reportedly go on sale with a single 8GB + 256GB storage option. According to rumors, the phone will come in Black, Glacier Blue, and Viva Magenta color options.
A 6.9-inch full-HD+ (2640 x 1080 pixels) pOLED primary inner display is likely to be present. The Motorola Razr Ultra is rumored to run Android 13 out of the box and be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
The Motorola Razr Ultra is rumored to have dual front cameras with 32-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors, as well as two 13-megapixel rear cameras. The device is anticipated to have a USB Type-C port, support 5G, NFC, and e-SIM connectivity, and be powered by a 3,800mAh battery unit. It is most likely to be 6.90 x 7.33 x 170mm in size and 190 grams in weight.
