Less than a month before the company is supposed to introduce its upcoming line of foldable smartphones, Motorola Razr 40 Ultra design renderings have surfaced online. The device is expected to have two outer cameras and a larger external display than current clamshell-style foldable phones made by manufacturers like Samsung and Oppo. The price of the handset, as well as its specifications, have appeared online prior to its release. According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (Twitter: @Sudhanshu1414), the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will cost $1,000. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 was introduced in August 2023 and was priced at $999, while the Oppo Find N2 Flip was introduced in global markets at GBP 849.
Meanwhile, design renderings of the rumored Motorola Razr 40 Ultra have also surfaced online, depicting the device in the colors red, blue, and black. While the inner display has a camera embedded in a hole-punch-style cutout, the external display is visible with a dual camera setup. The phone is shown to have power and volume buttons on the right spine, a USB Type-C port on the bottom next to a speaker grille, and other features.
According to the report, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra has the following specifications: an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. For the inner and outer displays, it might have 3.4-inch OLED and 6.7-inch full-HD+ pOLED displays, respectively.
The device is expected to have a dual rear camera system with a 32-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera for photos and videos. A hole-punched cutout in the inner display may house a 12-megapixel selfie camera. According to the report, the device will have a 3,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
