On Thursday, the US launched the Moto G Power 5G. (April 7). The new G-series phone is the model that will replace the Moto G Power (2022), which made its debut in November 2021. With a 50-megapixel main sensor and a triple camera setup on the back, the Moto G Power 5G has a hole-punch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. A MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC, 6GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage power the device. A 5,000mAh battery powers it, and the battery’s advertised playback time on a single charge is up to 38 hours. It also supports 10W fast charging.
Price and Availability:
The 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model of the Moto G Power 5G is priced at $299.99 (roughly Rs. 24,500). Starting on April 13, it will be available for purchase in the US on Motorola.com, Amazon, and BestBuy. In the upcoming months, T-Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, and Xfinity Wireless will all offer it at Metro.
It is also confirmed that the Moto G Power 5G will go on sale in Canada in the upcoming months. However, information regarding the handset’s launch in India has not yet been made public.

With a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) LCD screen, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 405ppi, the Dual SIM Moto G Power 5G runs Android 13. An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 930 SoC and 6GB of RAM power the Motorola phone.
Cameras:
The Moto G Power 5G’s triple rear cameras are equipped with phase-detection autofocus and a 50-megapixel primary sensor. (PDAF). A 12-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera are also included in the camera setup. Among other features, the rear camera setup supports dual capture, spot color, time-lapse photography, and slow motion. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.4 lens up front for taking selfies and video calls.
Storage:
There is a 256GB internal storage capacity listed, and a microSD card slot is available for additional storage. (up to 1TB).
Battery & Charger:
The 5,000mAh battery in the Moto G Power 5G supports 10W fast charging. According to claims, the battery can last up to 38 hours on a single charge.

It weighs 185 grams and has dimensions of 163.06 x 74.8 x 8.45mm.
Features:
The Moto G Power 5G has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, and Galileo. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, SAR sensor, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. For authentication, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and the phone also supports face unlock. The phone also includes two microphones and two stereo speakers.
